“Teachers open the door, you enter by yourself.”
That is a simple quote yet inspiring. Schools, universities, parents, teachers, lecturers, or even friends. They are only facilitators who help us to learn better. They provide us everything we need and they support us. But do you know who is that really matter? it is you, it is our selves. Truly education is come from within, from yourself. They can help you, but if you won’t help yourself, you will never succeed. Teachers can remind you to learn and do your homeworks, but if you are not eager to learn, you are not passionate to learn, and you hate to learn, then you will never be smart.
Life is about making choices. Allah has given us a lot of blessings. Allah gives us everything we need to learn, to achieve great things in life, to make our dreams come true. It depends on us to study or sleep, to watch tv every single night or read a book, to do the exams honestly or cheat. Life always offers us a lot of choices, we can always choose to be a good one or bad one, to keep fighting or to give up.
Just take one moment to think about our intention in learning. Is it for high scores? is it for our parents? to please them? or to impress everybody around us? think about those questions and find out the answers. Once you find out what is your intention, you will enjoy the process completely. You will keep fighting although you face a lot of difficulties, and you will accept the failures wisely.
“The roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet.”
“If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you. If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you.”
